Description
This plum liqueur is crafted by a local sake brewery in Kanazawa, a historic castle town once flourishing under the Kaga Hyakumangoku culture. Made by steeping plums in premium sake, it offers a sweet, elegant profile where the refreshing aroma and gentle acidity of the fruit harmonize beautifully with the umami of the sake. It also contains pieces of plum pulp, adding natural texture and depth.
Enjoy it at room temperature, chilled, on the rocks, or use it as a base for cocktails.
Alcohol: 11.2%
Plums used: Ishikawa-grown plums (primarily “Ishikawa No.1”)
Rice used: Gohyakumangoku (grown in Mitani, JA Kanazawa)
Polishing ratio: 60%
