Product Features Enjoy the fun of making your own Matsumae-zuke, a traditional delicacy from Hokkaido, with this easy hand‑made kit. All you need is water—anyone can prepare it quickly and anywhere.
This kit uses fresh squid caught in Hokkaido, along with premium nagagome kelp and ma-kombu from Hakodate. A delicious sauce made without preservatives or artificial seasonings is included.
You can customize your own original Matsumae-zuke by adding finely sliced vegetables such as ginger or carrots, aromatic ingredients like yuzu peel or chili peppers, or seafood such as herring roe or scallops.
How to Prepare

Remove the ingredients and sauce from the package.

Place the ingredients, sauce, and about 70 ml of water into a bowl and mix well.
Let it sit for about 1 hour before enjoying. For an even richer flavor, add vegetables or seafood of your choice.
